Deacon Tim Weinmann here and I’m representing a nearly 15-person team that has been planning the first Diocesan Pentecost Novena, a virtual only event, which will be totally live-streamed from the Cathedral of Christ the King beginning Friday May 22nd and running through Pentecost Sunday afternoon (May 31st). We have an amazing slate of dynamic speakers, including Bishop John, who will help us make this Pentecost Novena experience one to remember.

We are excited to finally get started with physical changes for the church renovation that was planned over the last several years. Construction will start in May and if all goes as planned, will be completed so we can have mass in the renovated church on August 1, 2020.

The guidelines issued by the government to combat the spread of the Coronavirus included the elimination of public gatherings and implementation of appropriate social distancing. As you would expect, this has had a dramatic effect on our offertory and the corresponding financial health of our parish
