It is BBQ time again! The Knights of Columbus are excited about the fundraiser this year. Past years’ proceeds have enabled us to support many groups and causes: Mary Queen Church and School, Boy Scouts, Special Olympics, Right to Life, Giving Tree, Coats for Kids, Catholic Action Center, Light House Ministries, Lexington Rescue Mission, Ukraine Relief, Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief, Miracle League, Paul Mcbeth Foundation and support for Seminarians. Your support is greatly appreciated and it is our honor to be a part of this event. This is our thirteenth year, so help us to carry on this tradition. Your purchase allows the Knights to continue our support of the parish and community. The setup is the same as always. • Pulled Pork is only $12 per pound. • All natural wood smoke • No salt, no sauce, season to your own liking • One pound of pork can make 4 large sandwiches

Beginning Sunday, January 8 at the 11AM Mass, children 3 1/2 - 2nd grade will be dismissed after the Gloria and will return during the Preparation of Gifts. Contact Stephanie Beeken for more information.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Lexington, KY, with burial to follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Road.

Our Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary Knights of Columbus is soliciting donations so that we may participate in Supreme’s (National) Coats for Kids this winter to deliver new coats to children.

The Finance Council of Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary respectfully submits to you the parish financial reports for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. Your generous offertory gifts, during the 2021-2022 year, exceeded our budget by 3%! We are grateful for how the Lord works through all of you, who support the ministries and mission of our parish. This Giving Tuesday, November 29th,we are striving to raise $15,200 to purchase and install a 20 ft. x 20 ft. cantilever permanent umbrella shade to improve our awesome playground as previously purchased through a prior #iGiveCatholic campaign. ADDITIONALLY, you may have noticed that during the recent high winds, we sadly lost our temporary shade structure over our picnic tables. This is a vital area to our school and parish operations. We are hoping to reach our original goal of $15,200 and pledge that any funds we receive above and beyond can be used towards a permanent shade for the picnic area too!

Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Christ the King, Hehman Hall

On November 4,  Bishop John Stowe will lead us in celebrating the first year of progress on The Pilgrim Trail.  Hehman Hall, at Christ the King from 6:00-8:00 pm, will provide the opportunity to meet other pilgrims from across the diocese, to share a meal and to hear who we are and where we call home.

Scouts BSA, Troop 282 and Troop 8, Chartered by Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary will be preforming a US flag retirement ceremony on Saturday, September 24, at 10:00am.
