This is a new camp to develop and support the musical growth of children and youth so that they may better use their gifts and talents to participate and lead liturgical music in their parish / church.
The week will include group music making (vocal and instrumental), fun activities, community building educational opportunities, and small group and individual instruction to meet the interests of participants.
The camp is open to children and youth entering 5th to 12th grades.To ensure a quality experience for all participants we are requiring a reccomendation from their parish/chuch music director and/or school music teacher.
The cost for the week will be $75 and will include a t-shirt, music materials, field trips, at least one private music lesson, lunch and snacks. Scholarships will be available upon request.

Adam Beeken is the Director of Music & Liturgy at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary, Director of the Diocesan Choir for the Diocese of Lexington, and Upper School Choir Director at Lexington Latin School. Previous Positions include St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church & Lexington Catholic HS. He has completed musical studies at Emory & Henry College & the University of Kentucky.
Mary Grace Horsley
Mary Grace Horsley is Music Director at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Lexington, KY. She has also served as accompanist at St. Andrew Catholic church in Harrodsburg, and has years of experience serving in music ministry and singing and performing throughout the Diocese of Lexington.
Julie Ervin
Julie Ervin has volunteered in music ministry in the Diocese of Lexington as an accompanist, cantor, and choir member since 1987. In recent years, she has been serving as an accompanist at Ss. Francis and John Catholic Parish, Georgetown; St. Joseph Catholic Church, Winchester; and her home parish, Church of the Annunciation, Paris. She is the wife of Brett Ervin and mother of their six sons, the youngest of whom has just graduated from high school.
Rosie Fedorchuk
Rosie Fedorchuk, OFS has been teaching art, religion, guitar, and music at Saint Leo for 29 years. Liturgical music ministry became a passion for Rosie after years of participating in the National pastoral Musicians Convention. She has published a musical, " The Musical Jesse Tree" that has become a part of the Saint Leo Advent tradition. Rosie is currently learning iconography, teaching, and serves as the formation director for the Clare Francis Fraternity of Secular Franciscans of the Diocese of Lexington.
