Area of Concentration:

• Middle School Youth group (6th-8th grades)

• Youth mass (once a month)

• Retreats 

• Service Projects

• Outreach 

Responsibilities

• Works with the Youth Ministry Coordinator to develop and implement engaging youth group activities.

• Lead youth group gatherings, retreats, and service opportunities that promote spiritual growth

• Foster an inclusive environment that encourages active participation in parish life

• Support youth in building a lasting relationship with Christ and the Church

• Collaborate with the Formation team, clergy, volunteers, and families to sustain a thriving ministry.

• Works with the Youth Ministry Coordinator to create and support a Middle School Youth Leadership Team

• Assist with  youth group fundraising activities

• Work with Parish ministries to  service opportunities

• Maintain social media and flocknotes 

Qualifications:

• Practicing Catholic with strong knowledge of Church teachings

• Experience in youth ministry or faith-based programming

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to connect authentically with youth and parents

• Completion of Safe Environment and background check. 

• Be physically present.

• Must be able to  multitask. 

• Must have knowledge of current youth culture and current trends and  issues within those cultures. Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality.
